Free Fiat radio code from the label serial
A Fiat radio code is worked out from the serial on the label on the radio casing, usually a line starting A2C. FreeCarRadioCodes decodes it for nothing with a 24 hour wait, or right away with the instant service.
Where the serial is
The serial is on the sticker on the radio casing, so the radio has to come out. Fiat radios sit in a cage: two flat keys, or a thin strip of plastic, pushed into the slots either side release it. On Continental units use the line starting A2C. On Bosch units it starts 815CM, and on Blaupunkt it starts BP. Daiichi units, common in the Punto, Panda, Seicento and older 500s, carry just a 4 or 5 digit number on the same sort of sticker, and that short number is the whole serial.

How to enter the code
- 1Turn the ignition on and switch the radio on. The screen shows CODE and waits for four digits.
- 2Press preset 1 repeatedly until the first digit is right. Do the same with presets 2, 3 and 4 for the other digits. On units with a menu knob, turn it to pick each digit and press it to move on.
- 3Check all four digits on the screen before you confirm. A wrong entry counts as a try.
- 4Press and hold preset 6 until the radio plays. On knob units, press the knob to confirm. On Uconnect touchscreens, tap the digits and press OK.

Can a generator really produce a Fiat radio code?
Yes, for most Fiat radios. Continental A2C and Daiichi codes are calculated from the serial, and that is what we do for nothing. Bosch and Blaupunkt units are looked up by a person, so allow a day for those. No Fiat code comes from a paid manufacturer database.
My Fiat serial is only five digits. Is that right?

Is a Fiat radio code free?

What does WAIT mean on a Fiat radio?
You've had three wrong tries and the radio has locked itself for 30 minutes. Leave the ignition on and let the time run. The wait gets longer with each round, so check the serial before you try again.
I've had the battery out before. Is it the same code?
Yes. The code belongs to the radio, not the battery, so it never changes. If you had it last time, the same four digits still work. If you didn't write it down, the serial gets it back.
