Free Ford Fiesta radio code
Most Fiesta models came with a Ford 4500 or 5000 RDS unit, a 6000 CD, or a Sony CD unit, and all of them have a V or M serial that the code is calculated from. FreeCarRadioCodes works it out free with a 24-hour wait, or straight away for $5.
Ford Fiesta
Older Fiesta models have the 4500 or 5000 RDS EON cassette unit, with the serial on the label. Most Fiestas from the early 2000s have the 6000 CD, and later ones the Sony CD unit. Those show V or M plus six digits on the screen when you hold presets 1 and 6. Any of them is worked out on the spot.

Where the serial is
Turn the radio on, then press and hold presets 1 and 6 together for a few seconds. The serial appears on the screen as a V or M followed by six digits. If nothing shows, the serial is printed on a label on the side or back of the radio. You'll need to pull the unit out for that one.
How to enter the code
- 1Turn the radio on; the display shows CODE.
- 2Press preset 1 until the first digit is right, then 2, 3 and 4 for the others.
- 3Press and hold 5 to confirm.
- 4If it says LOCKED, leave the radio on for 30 minutes and try again.
Ford Fiesta · Questions people ask
Where is the serial on a Fiesta 6000 CD?
Hold presets 1 and 6 with the radio on and the screen shows V or M plus six digits. It is also on the label on the casing if you would rather pull the unit.
My Fiesta has a cassette radio. Is that covered?
Yes. The 4500 and 5000 RDS EON units have a V or M serial on the label, and the code is worked out the same way.
Does the Fiesta code need a confirm button?
No. Type the digits with the preset buttons and the radio plays after the fourth. If it shows WAIT, leave it switched on for a while and try again.
