Free Ford Kuga radio code

The first Kuga mostly came with the Sony CD unit, with the 6000 CD on lower trims. Later Kugas have the Sony DAB unit. All of them show V or M plus six digits on the screen when you hold presets 1 and 6, and the same serial is on the label. Kugas with the later touchscreen system normally do not ask for a code at all.

Where the serial is
Turn the radio on, then press and hold presets 1 and 6 together for a few seconds. The serial appears on the screen as a V or M followed by six digits. If nothing shows, the serial is printed on a label on the side or back of the radio. You'll need to pull the unit out for that one.
How to enter the code
- 1Turn the radio on; the display shows CODE.
- 2Press preset 1 until the first digit is right, then 2, 3 and 4 for the others.
- 3Press and hold 5 to confirm.
- 4If it says LOCKED, leave the radio on for 30 minutes and try again.
